We are very fortunate to have her in JustPhulkari family. She is the senior most member we have on board. She is almost 60 and has been doing Phulkari embroidery since childhood. Her eyes are weak now but she is so fond of Phulkari that she can do a full saree in about 3 weeks.
She adores her grandson and granddaughter who go to school. Their education is of prime importance to the family. Her husband doesn't keep well and is bedridden. JustPhulkari is supporting these artisans by offering them fair wages and other facilities for their wonderful work. The fund created by JustPhulkari will support medical facilities in their small village.
