Empowering Phulkari Artists - Karamjit Kaur

  We are very fortunate to have her in JustPhulkari family. She is the senior most member we have on board. She is almost 60 and has been doing Phulkari embroidery since childhood. Her eyes are weak now but she is so fond of Phulkari that she can do a full saree in about 3 weeks.  She adores her grandson and granddaughter who go to school. Their education is of prime importance to the family.
